Newsletter: Celebrating a momentous year for gender in Australia

Thursday, 22 December 2022

Dear Friend,

It has been a momentous year for Australians Investing In Women (AIIW), and a monumental year for gender in Australia.

In 2022 we saw issues relating to women and girls get the attention they so desperately deserve. I’m incredibly proud of our place in growing the evidence base needed for more and better investment in women and girls to progress gender equality.

Thank you most sincerely for your continuing commitment to strengthening society by investing in women and girls.

We are very proud of all we have achieved and enormously grateful to our Board, staff, wonderful circle of philanthropic, pro bono supporters, and volunteers.

This is a brief wrap for a big year, sharing some important news, reflections and impactful projects should you wish to invest in women and girls over the festive season.

In the new year, we look forward to building on the momentum that we have created together, to ensure intentional consideration of women and girls in every area of social investment.

For now and most importantly, we wish you and your loved ones a restorative break, all the joys of the festive season and a very happy, healthy and prosperous new year.
