Sharpening Our Focus on Corporate Giving: Keeping Gender Equality in the Frame

AIIW News, 11 October 2021

Dear Friend,

On this International Day of the Girl, we acknowledge and thank the many philanthropic funders, advocates and members of civil society, in Australia and around the world, who are working in various ways to advance gender equality.

At Australians Investing In Women (AIIW) we encourage all Australians – particularly philanthropic, corporate, and community leaders – to apply a gender-lens to their giving and increase investment in women and girls, to help create a fairer and more inclusive society.

To this end we are very excited to share with you our latest gender-wise resource, developed in partnership with the Champions of Change Coalition, that is designed to bring women and girls into focus in corporate giving.

We also invite you to join us later this month when we launch the second report in our research series examining the ongoing impact of COVID-19 on women and girls – particularly on young women and employment.

Below you’ll find links to the new corporate resource, event registration details for the research launch, suggested projects and items to read, listen or view that will keep you both informed and inspired.
